Braveheart

1 John 4:18 NIV There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I think the hardest thing to recover from is heartbreak. After you’ve been hurt, its hard to love again because fear is present. Fear brings back memories of past pain. Fear reminds you. Fear encourages isolation. Fear discourages you. Fear fuels doubt. To love again, requires you to push back your emotions. To love again, requires you to trust again. To love again, requires you to believe again. To love again, requires you to have a braveheart. You do have a braveheart. You have been given the ability to forgive and forget, and to love again. You have a braveheart that heals itself. You have a braveheart that’s waiting on you.

Unicorn

I love unicorns! Always have. Always will. Recently, unicorns have gained popularity. You can find unicorn inspired anything almost anywhere. I was gifted a unicorn pool inflatable. Needless to say, it was a hit at the pool and kids alike. Unicorns are mythical animals represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead. Unicorns are usually things that are hard to attain. They are sometimes referred to as the "perfect catch." A unicorn might be a guy or girl over a certain age that has never been married or doesn't have kids. Unicorns are special. They are a rarity. What is rare in your life?  What do you deem special? Take the time today to appreciate those unique special things in your life that you may have taken for granted recently.  Love the unicorn in your life. Celebrate it!

Ideally

In an ideal world, everything would go as planned. We would make plans and execute them and all would be right with the world. Not so much. Life is full of twists and turns, surprises, mishaps, and missteps. Truthfully, these things make life interesting and challenging. I can admit that I am usually the person with a backup plan to the backup plan. My life is full of unexpected obstacles and series of unfortunate events, but I am stronger for it. My faith is bigger. My heart is fuller, and I am wiser. Ideally, we all want things to go smoother, but our character is not forged in serene environments. There are lessons in our suffering. There are blessings in our redirection, and there is a purpose for our pain. 

Zenith

Every great story should include an exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and a denouement. Our lives are the greatest story ever told. Most of us get caught up in the exposition, miss the climax, and before we know it...it's the end. The climax is the best part. It's the zenith. It's the high point. It's where all the good memories are made. Don't miss out on the zenith of your life. Seize the moment. Take a chance. Forgive. Forget. Love again. Your zenith is waiting....
