Objective

When we are revamping our resumes or job hunting, we do so on purpose. We have an objective. We have a goal. We have a purpose. We are deliberate. We should always have an objective in every area of our life. We fast with a goal in mind. We pray with a purpose. We should speak and live in the same manner. Be objective and have an objective for this year.

Bloom

I love cherry blossoms. I love how they look when they are in full bloom. Their beauty is something to behold. I imagine that God has the same expectation when he patiently waits for his creation to bloom. We are God’s creation. We are being planted when things feel like we are being buried. It’s dark. It’s uncomfortable. It hurts. It’s all part of the process. We will grow. We will mature. We will develop and we will emerge in full bloom.

Passion

Can you imagine knowing that you’re going to die in four days? Can you imagine a friend betraying you for money? I can’t. No matter how hard I try. I find it difficult to imagine giving my life for the very people who would decide to murder me. I struggle with basic forgiveness. I’m so grateful that God saw fit to save a wretch like me. I’m so grateful that God’s passion does not compare to my own. This week I’m reminded of God’s sacrifice for me. I’m grateful for a debt being paid that I would have cost me my life. I’m grateful for the passion of Christ.

Talented

Talent is described as natural skill or aptitude. What do you do well? Can you cook? Can you bake? Can you build? Can you write? Can you draw? Are you good at connecting people? Rediscover your talent. Rediscover your passion. Rediscover your purpose. Revisit your vision. Rewrite the vision. Invest in you. You are talented!

Fervent

The Bible talks about having a fervent mind, effectual fervent prayers, and possessing a fervent spirit. Our thoughts should be passionate and deliberate. Our prayers should be a profession of our faith. Our spirit should be expectant. I say should because some of us have lost our intensity. Our passionate flames are smoldering. We are still on fire, but our flames can be extinguished by disappointment. Fan the flames. Ignite your passion. Renew your strength. Change your mind. Raise your expectation. Pray effectual fervent prayers. Love fervently. 
 

Niche

Sometimes, it is hard to find your place in this world. You may know what you don't like. You may not be able to narrow down what you do like. You may be indifferent about some things, and completely neutral about others. Ask yourself, "what would you do for free?" "Is someone else doing that?" "Is there a way for you to do it better?" Sometimes, it's not about doing something different. Sometimes, it's about doing it better. Think about how many burger spots and pizza joints there are in your neighborhood. Pizza isn't just pizza. Papa John's is different from Domino's. Pizza Hut is different from Godfather's. Just like McDonald's is different from Burger King, but they all sell burgers and fries. "Identify your niche and dominate it. Zenith

Every great story should include an exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and a denouement. Our lives are the greatest story ever told. Most of us get caught up in the exposition, miss the climax, and before we know it...it's the end. The climax is the best part. It's the zenith. It's the high point. It's where all the good memories are made. Don't miss out on the zenith of your life. Seize the moment. Take a chance. Forgive. Forget. Love again. Your zenith is waiting....
