This or That

I might be dating myself, but in the Fall of 1991, Black Sheep released a song entitled, “The Choice is Yours.” The hook was beyond catchy. The bridge still gets the party hyped, but the messaging is the same. The choice is yours. We will always have comparisons. We will always have options. You need to count the cost, weigh your options, and make the best decision for you. The choice is yours; You can get with this or you an get with that…

Choices

Life is all about choices. The choices we make. The choices we don't make. Life has a way of letting us know whether or not we made the right or the wrong choice. The wisdom of our choices are rarely seen in the moment. However, the preparation and who we consult prior to making a decision typically determines if we make the right choice. Seek wise counsel. Make good choices.

 

The Crossroads

I'm sure many of you are beyond ready for 2016 to be over. This has been a year of great joy and great loss for many. We have seen many great entertainers transition this year. We have seen a historical political campaign to the White House. We have seen great tragedies and monumental victories. We are at a crossroads. We have a decision to make. We can face 2017 with great expectations or with wavering doubts. We can expect the same, or choose to see and do things differently. I hope you choose to see the glass half full. I hope you understand that there is a season for everything. In life, there are ebbs and flows, and there are mountains and valleys. More importantly, I hope that when you find yourself at a crossroad...you make the right decision.
