Moved

20190920_053045.jpg

The Book of Psalms references not being moved or shaken. It describes a tree planted by rivers, and God being a rock and salvation. We live in a world that promotes fleeting emotions, and we find ourselves rooted in nothing. Our foundations are unsure because we don’t believe in anything. What was the last thing you felt so strongly about that you could not be moved or shaken? How grounded are you? What do you believe? Are you planted or placed? Is God really your rock and salvation? Be strong and of courage. Don’t be moved.

Vision

Habakkuk 2:2 “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.

It seems easy. Get an idea. Write it down. Have a dream. Write it down. Most of us use our phones to help keep us on track, anyway. We make "to do" and grocery lists. We set calendar reminders, and some of us even schedule text messages. Fancy! Then, why don't we prioritize our ideas or our vision? Why don't we invest in ourselves? Why don't we support other visionaries? I'm sure the reasons may vary. However, we should consciously cultivate our ideas. Who knows? They could be an additional income stream and potentially grow into a thriving business. Write the vision!

Declaration

There is power in spoken word. There are lots of "new age" thinking based on this logic. The Power of Positive Thinking is based on faith and inspiration. The Law of Attraction is based on affirmations, declarations, and visualization. The Secret is based on positive thinking and the law of attraction.  These are not new ideas. The branding and marketing is new. Reaping and sowing is not new. It is an agricultural principle. If you sow an apple seed, you will reap an apple tree. If you sow love, you will reap and abundance of love. Make positive declarations over your life and your future. Create a vision board. Sketch your dream house. Name your kids. Write a few morning affirmations. Create a breeding ground for creativity and positivity. Make a declaration!

Clear Vision

Some people have a vision for their life. They make plans. They set goals. They execute the vision. However, there are some people who have a plan, but never take the time to write it down. Writing is an important part of the vision planning process. There is a part of our brain that is stimulated when we write called the reticular activating system (RAS). It tells our brain to pay attention. Writing also helps us simplify the vision, so that others can help us execute the vision. Our vision is never just for our own personal benefit. It should be beneficial to others. Do you have a million dollar idea? Do you have a business you are waiting to start? Now is the time.
Habakkuk 2:2(KJV) And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Low Visibility

Forecasters often warn about driving in fog, rain or snow due to low visibility. Visibility is measured by the distance in which light or an object can be clearly discerned. Meteorologists recommend that you use extreme caution, use your low beams, slow down, minimize distractions and use the white fog line on the side of the road as a guide. In life, you will experience moments of low visibility. You will be unsure of what direction to take. You will be confused about your next step. You will most likely question your journey and your current route. You will have no sense of discernment. There is no need to fear. Continue to move forward with caution. Focus on your destination. Slow down. Ignore the distractions. Let your inner voice guide you until you have clear vision.

Psalm 119:105  (KJV) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
