Fearless
Most of us live our entire lives in fear of something. It's not always something big. It's not always something terrifying. Sometimes, it's something small. We have a fear of being successful. We have a fear of failure. We have a fear of being like our parents. We have a fear of being stuck. We have a fear of change. We have a fear of anything and everything out of our control. Fear is paralyzing. It can keep you from moving forward. It can cause you to doubt everything and everyone. The first step to conquering your fears is understanding why they exist in the first place. It does require a bit of soul searching and introspect, but I guarantee it will be worth it. Overcome one fear at a time. Acknowledge they exist, and each day try to fear less. Fear less and less each day until one day you are fearless. Take one step in the direction of being fearless. You are fearlessly and wonderfully made. You were not created with the spirit of fear. Be fearless.
"Everything you want is on the other side of fear."-Jack Canfield
Leap of Faith
When you have run out of options and logic just doesn't make sense anymore, you have to do the unthinkable. You have to move outside the realm of reason and jump. Jump with the hope that you won't fall. Jump with the hope that you'll have a safe landing. Jump with the hope that your safety net a.k.a your parachute will catch you. Jump with the hope that your faith will sustain you. Risk is definitely not for the faint of heart, and neither is faith. Faith will take you to the edge of your fears and say, "leap."
“Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.”- Margaret Shepard
Moving Forward
It begins with a step, and then another. Keep moving. Keep pushing forward. Don't turn back. Don't dwell on what was or what could have been. Walk boldly, knowing that the best is yet to come. It's natural to have anxiety about the unknown. It's ok to wonder. Moving out of your comfort zone is never easy. The hardest part is over. You've made up your mind. You've taken the first step. Now, take another step. Keep moving forward.
