Collaborate

Teamwork makes the dream work. We're better together. There is no "I" in team. There is strength in numbers. We've all heard these phrases. There is truth in all of them. Truth is, we all need help sometimes. We all need support. The best kind of team is when you can collaborate with someone whose strengths are your weaknesses and visa versa. Identify your strengths. Acknowledge your weaknesses. Seek partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Collaborate. 

Cultivate

Cultivation is a very old gardening principal. It requires breaking up and loosening the soil to optimize the retention and penetration of air, water, and nutrients, and removing weeds. Many times, we plant seeds and don't cultivate the ground, literally and figuratively. We fail to turn the soil of our hardened hearts. We don't take the time to remove the weeds of distraction, fear or doubt. We allow our dreams to grow and be tainted by environments we did cultivate properly. Before you start making resolutions, cultivate your ground. Create a pristine environment for dreams and relationships to grow in. Turn the soil. Pick the weeds. Cultivate!

Connect

We have more in common with each other than we have differences. It's always easier to identify what's different. We exist in a series of adjectives instead of nouns. We are all human. We all have blood flowing through our veins. We all need love. We are all the same when it counts. Our adjectives cease to matter when we choose to see how we connect. Tragedy connects us. Experiences connect us. Life connects us.
